Hello!

My name is Cherub and I'm a gorgeous tabby ginger and white girl who was born in April 2020.

‍

I was sadly brought to Boote Home for Cats as an unwanted pet, and it seems I might have had a few homes which has made me a little nervous.

‍

I've been lucky enough to spend some time in a wonderful foster home recently where I could grow my confidence and show my gorgeous personality.

‍

I am looking for a quiet home with understanding and experienced cat owners. I would like an adult only home please, and I might be wary of men, especially when they're stood up, but might gain my confidence with someone kind and patient over time.

This is what my foster mummy has to say about me! :

"is a haughty girl with a prickly exterior, but secretly she is a real softie.

She'll barely eat without another person in the room and will follow you room to room for your company.

Although fickle, she is a lap cat easy to purr, and is won over with treats, head scratches and respectful distance. In her foster home, she's been free to explore our small urban garden. She likes the outdoor space and is an excellent gardening companion, very good at staying close to home and coming back in when the door is about to close.

She doesn’t jump on counters, she's never caused a fuss or mess in our house, she likes to play with toys but won't badger you, and is very clean and polite.

She’s not sure about tall men, but doesn’t mind once they're sat down. Would be best suited to a household without children or anyone who bothers her too much or tries to pick her up, but is a very charming talkative girl with lots of personality who'll keep you company.

She's really come out of her shell but is still a bit of a little miss!"

I am neutered, microchipped, inoculated and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.
