Robertson (Ginger) and Duerrs (Black and White Tuxedo) - Happy playful boys

Hi!

We are Robertson (ginger and white) and Duerrs (black and white tuxedo) and we are 4 1/2 months old. We are currently loving life in our foster home with our one-nostrilled brother and an older chap called Professor Bob. We get along with everyone!

We were initially a little shy but after a few weeks of play and fun we came out of our shells and we rule the roost. We can be adopted singly or as a pair. If you just take one of us we would need good company with a young cat, because we enjoy playing with other cats a great deal! We spend a lot of time chasing each other around the house and I (Ginge) particularly enjoy carrying all my toys up the stairs and stashing them in a corner of our bedroom.

"I (Robertson when I'm naughty or Ginge normally) like to chill out nearby and I reckon I might get used to a lap. I enjoy a good stroke and as soon as you come near me I start to purrrrrrr. Apparently I sound like a car engine! I am a friendly little soul once I get to know you but I will take all your wand toys off you and run away with them, whacking nearby legs with the stick. My foster Mum says I am very handsome, even if I'm a big clumsy doofus. She said it might be the 'ginger gene' whatever that means. I am happy being picked up and I have the magical ability of turning into water sometimes when you try to pick me up, which means I just go limp and loose in your hands. My foster Mum always laughs at this. She laughs at me a lot, and again she says its the 'ginger gene'. My brother doesn't much like being laughed at and looks quite cross sometimes."

"I may look cross but I'm not always cross, I just have a face like that", says Duerrs (Tuxey). "I am an extremely handsome boy and my foster Mum tells me I'm a tuxedo which means I come already dressed for posh dinners! You can take me anyway, she says. I'd rather you didn't take me anyway, because sometimes I get a bit scared, and I run away, which makes everybody in the house run away. Sometimes I do it on purposes to see everyone run and hide hahah, then I come strolling out asking what's the big fuss about! Haha. I will take a few weeks to settle in your home but once I do, I will even come up to your visitors, as long as they aren't too rowdy and noisy. I love playing with my big ginger brother even if I'm littler (and cuter) than him, and we spend hours running about. Ginge always falls asleep first though because I'm the bestest. I also like to chill out nearby and keep an eye on everyone. I've learned in my foster home that hands aren't scary and even if I look like I'm not enjoying a stroke or being picked up, I do like to purrrrrr and make biscuits. I think as long as I have some time to settle in, I will be as confident as Ginge. My favourite toys are springs and little fluffy bees which I will endlessly fling around. My foster Mum says, I am a huge character for such a compact kitty."

Robertson and Duerrs have grown into confident happy kittens with the odd skittish streak in foster. They are in desperate need of a lap or two of their own because Professor Bob gives them the evil eye when they walk past their foster-Mums. Their tails are always up and they strut around the house as if they own it. They will need a little patient kindness but will make the most fun and affectionate cats after a few weeks. Duerrs has a sensitive tummy and we will happily advise about this. He doesn't have accidents, ever, but he will need a little extra care during that first month he is with you, while it settles back down. We have lots of tips to tell you to ensure he doesn't get poorly and make sure he gets over his stressy belly quickly.

Both kitties are neutered, flea-treated, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.  If you think you can give us a home, please ring our homing team on 0151 228 4336 and leave a message.

We hope to hear from you soon xx
